This homework tasks is a little disappointing Rebbecca. You have provided evidence of a basic level of research into horror films from your given period in time but the overall quality of what you have done, and the attention to detail in its presentation, is not great.
How many different sources did you use for your research and why did you choose to ignore my advice of using an online presentation tool such as Prezi?
I wasn't able to get onto Prezi therefore I decided word would be an okay substitute. I used 3 different websites but the majority of my information came from one of the websites you recommended.
Thanks Rebbecca. I think the key thing for you to understand is that, as an A level student, you need to approach learning in a slightly different way. It may have been the case at GCSE that you were given al the information you needed to be able to succeed in an exam or with coursework. At A level, particularly in this subject, you will be introduced to topics in class but will need to show independence in your learning to read widely around the topic in order to develop your understanding and knowledge-base.
Generally I have been impressed with your start to Year 12. Remember, however, that you should be using your study periods and own time to constantly develop your knowledge and skills.
